Current
productions and developments of the North Rhine-Westphalian
dance scene will be presented in seven cities on eight days,
among them ensembles that have already gained international
renown as well as promising new discoveries. Eight members
of the Tanzproduzenten-Konferenz NRW (TPK) collectively
chose a programme consisting of more than 25 dance productions
in 2009, an inspirational programme of experimental conceptualizing
and convincing choreographical handwritings.

the festival tanz nrw 09 for the next edition in may 2009.

festival is a presentation of and initiated by the presenter’s
community Tanzproduzenten-Konferenz-NRW (TPK). For the edition
2009: tanzhaus nrw Düsseldorf, PACT Zollverein Essen,
Kulturbüro der Stadt Krefeld (Fabrik Heeder), Kulturabteilung
der Stadt Viersen, Kulturamt der Stadt Köln, Kulturbüro
der Stadt Wuppertal, Stadt Bonn with the theaterimballsaal
and the Brotfabrik Bonn.
