This 3-part program presents works by young P.A.R.T.S. graduates. Anna Teresa de Keersmaeker founded her school in 1995 and it has since evolved into one of the internationally most important centers for contemporary dance and choreography. A new generation of dance producers can be seen at the beginning of their careers. Their cheeky, humorous and profound pieces are sure to catch our attention.

Conception and performance:
Nada Gambier

Length: 30 minutes

A poignant solo about the great lie on which each performance rests. That which is naked is thus not yet true. What do you see? What is she doing? Do you see what she is doing? Between presence and absence, true and false, serious or simply ridiculous. Too much and not enough.

Confessions- The autopsy of a performance was made in residency at and produced by the Choreographisches Zentrum NRW/PACT Zollverein in Essen, Germany in the framework of DEPARTS, a network sponsored by the European Commission ‘Culture Programme 2000’.

Conception and interpretation:

Peter Fol and Shani Granot
inspired by the novel „The Resistance of Ether“ by Alice Evermore
Length: 25 minutes

Curiosity and ambiguity motivate two figures in a short play of antics. Without defined roles or a setting, an unlikely duo counterpoise grace with ineptitude in an orbiting of physical opposites.

Conception:
Mette Ingvartsen
Choreography and performance: Manon Santkin, Kajsa Sandstrom, Mette Ingvartsen
Length: 25 minutes

Manual Focus ignores any form of existing human anatomy; it gives birth to monsters. Yet It isn‘t the monster in itself but rather the monstrous connections between nude/masked, artificial/real, male/female that produces an unfamiliar gaze at the bodies we already know. Monsters are not a species that you can get familiar with, they disappear and slip away unfocused.
