The dramaturgical starting point is an internet search engine.
Rachid Ouramdane plugs the terms „death“ and „youth“
and comes up with a plethora of anonymous stories, daily politics
and social topics as well as the work of the choreographer
Roland Petit. What kind of trails does death leave in the
world wide web? How can you break through the illusion of
the infinity and infallibility of the universe and how does
the human body regain presence? In La Mort et le jeune homme
Rachid Ouramdane confronts us with the discrepancies of our
times. Comparable to a rewriteable CD his interpretation presents
a series of transformations, that are formed and disolve just
like the information we get off of the internet.
